Motor City Auto Spares is one of South Africa’s leading supplier of quality used (Second hand) parts/spares/components for most if not all major car brands. By using this website, it is worth noting that you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

LEGAL NOTICE:

Motor City Auto Spares is an automotive supplier of vehicle parts, our parts are sold both in store and online. Website visitors (from hereon referred to as “users”) can browse all the car parts and cars for stripping that are listed, make enquiries, and buy parts online. By using this website, users are therefore consenting to the following conditions:

• Communication from the Motor City Auto Spares personnel (such as the sales and marketing department) regarding enquiries made as well as incomplete orders such as items left on the shopping cart.
• Agree to accept cookies and other tags such as conversion tags which enable us to collect and analyse information about your usage on our website which help us improve the service we provide. More information on your privacy and how we use your data may be accessed on our Privacy Policy page.

DISCLAIMER:

The information provided in this website has been carefully reviewed and kept as accurate as possible. The product images are the actual images of the parts that are sold and have not been tampered with or edited in any way, therefore what the user sees is what the user gets. Should there be any misrepresentation or inaccuracies we will endeavour to correct these as soon as possible. All the products sold on this website are used/second hand and will not portrayed or presented as new, therefore the user agrees that they understand the condition of the products they buy on this website.

PRICING:

All parts on our Shop page are priced using in Rands (ZAR), the pricing on these products includes tax. The delivery fee is not included in the price of the products and will be calculated and added on checkout depending on the destination of shipping, which will be entered by the user. Motor City Auto Spares will not be held liable if the user has entered an incorrect address for delivery, the accuracy of this information is the sole responsibility of the user.

PAYMENT OPTIONS:

Payment may be made via Visa or MasterCard credit cards or by bank transfer into our bank account (subject to clearing in the account), the details of which will be provided on request. Credit card transactions will be acquired via Payfast (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for South Africa. Payfast uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no credit card details are stored on the website. Users may go to http://www.payfast.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.

DELIVERY:

We provide delivery services nationwide for all products purchased on the website, to fulfill this Motor City Auto Spares has partnered with Skynet to provide fast and efficient delivery services to its customers. It is the responsibility of the user to ensure that accurate information billing and delivery information is provided to avoid delays and/or delivery to wrong addresses. Delivery is not compulsory and will be the decision of the user upon checkout to select this option.

RETURN POLICY:

Due to incorrect parts ordered, Motor City Auto Spares reserves the right to charge out a 20% handling or cancellation fee on parts returned. Refunds will be made within seven working days from the date the part is returned. Refunds requests must be emailed through to refunds@motorcityspares.co.za which must include reasons for the return as well as the nominated bank account for the refund. Alternatively, our refund policy also accommodates the option of receiving a store credit, whereby instead of a refund the user can use the credit amount to purchase something else for the same amount credited. Moreover, please note that engines and gearboxes sold by Motor City Auto Spares are provided with a 30-day start-up guarantee, failure to return the engine or gearbox within the 30-day period will render the guarantee void and null. For orders that were delivered through the shipping option on the checkout page, users may log returns on the following link: https://returns.scrubbill.net/ herein the user will be required to enter the same email address they used for shipping details as well as the waybill number received.
